On May 17, 2026, Nam Kim Phu My officially held the inauguration ceremony marking the completion of the installation of its Phase 1 Continuous Pickling and Cold Rolling Line (CPL/CRM), signifying the successful completion of the entire process line installation and the project’s readiness for commissioning. The project was executed by WISDRI under an EP (Engineering & Procurement) contract model, encompassing integrated technological solutions, system integration, and equipment configuration for the high-speed cold rolling complex at Nam Kim Phu My.
As a typical integrated cold rolling project featuring a fully closed-loop production process, the Nam Kim Phu My Integrated Cold Rolling Complex comprises a Continuous Pickling and Cold Rolling Line, Continuous Annealing Line (CAL), Continuous Galvanizing Line (CGL), Color Coating Line (CCL), Finishing Line, together with auxiliary facilities and utility systems.
The entire project has been implemented in accordance with advanced technological standards, adopting WISDRI Group’s leading standards in engineering design and the integrated application of modern technical solutions in cold rolling and steel coating technologies. Leveraging WISDRI’s extensive expertise in cold rolling engineering and system integration capabilities, the project has successfully realized the synchronized application of core technologies and key equipment for a high-speed cold rolling complex, with a designed annual capacity of 1.2 million tons and an operating speed of up to 1,450 meters per minute, ensuring stable and efficient line performance.
From the efficient and synchronized operation of the Continuous Pickling and Cold Rolling Line to the world-class operational standards of the Continuous Annealing Line, Continuous Galvanizing Line, Color Coating Line, and the fully integrated latest-generation Acid Regeneration System (ARS), the project has achieved a high level of integration and synergy throughout the entire production process. As a result, the project contributes significantly to energy efficiency, reduced consumption, enhanced environmental sustainability, and optimized investment as well as operating costs.
The completion of the installation and the upcoming commissioning of the project not only expand Nam Kim Steel’s production capacity, but also mark a strategic milestone in the company’s journey toward conquering the high-quality steel segment, further strengthening the position of a Vietnamese enterprise in both regional and international markets.
